About my work

I explore how cultural identity is intimately connected to local nature and how this relationship reveals itself through these narratives. I am especially drawn to stories and legends that forge a fundamental bond with the natural world, weaving together disparate tales into a cohesive whole. By centering these stories, I aim to highlight the importance of protecting our environment as a way of preserving cultural heritage and identity, a crucial aspect of environmental justice.

Through my work, I aim to contribute to communities confronting history, reshape narratives, and collectively heal. Art provides a platform to challenge environmental injustices, giving voice to marginalized communities whose stories and connection to the land are often overlooked. Through this creative process, I envision new possibilities for the future—ones that are grounded in both cultural resilience and ecological stewardship.
